I am personally of the belief when it's your birthday, you should be celebrated all week long. That's what we did with Miss Emery!
On her actual birthday we took her out to Tanglewood for dinner with the Grandparents and picked up a couple of cupcakes from The Ruffled Cup. She wasn't sure what to do with her red velvet cupcake, so she ended up sharing with Daddy.
Her big birthday party was at our house, man that's an undertaking! We were so exhaused when the party ended, Emery ended up taking a 3 hour nap. When she got up, all her new toys, clothes, and books were layed out neatly so she could dive right in!
All she cared about was the frosting, that's my girl!
You don't have to ride in your seat belt on your birthday, do you?
